Diploma in Mathematical Sciences with a Bachelor of Biomedicine – Bioengineering Systems Major Only
Below are possible course plans for 8 semesters (standard option) for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Biomedicine, Bioengineering Systems Major. It is possible to overload and complete both the degree and the Diploma in 6 or 7 semesters (accelerated option). The program and time of completion will depend on the subjects completed in Year 12. Choose from the options below.
 Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Biomedicine, Bioengineering Systems Major taking the Diploma usually undertake between 50 and 75 points (4 to 6 subjects) of mathematics and statistics as well as the usual 300 points that make up an undergraduate degree.
 We assume that students choose at least one of their second year science options to be mathematics and statistics and also use their 'free options' for mathematics and statistics. This second option would be cross credited to both the Diploma and the Bachelor degree.
