Diploma of Mathematical Sciences

Diploma in Mathematical Sciences with a Bachelor of Arts, Music, Commerce*** and as Breadth in a Bachelor of Environments

Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts, Music, Commerce*** and shere mathematics and statistics are breadth in a Bachelor of Environments taking the Diploma will usually undertake an additional 50 points (4 subjects) of mathematics and statistics as well as the usual 300 points that make up an undergraduate degree. As well as this students include mathematics and statistics in the breadth component of their degree. Below are possible course plans for either 7 semesters (standard option) or 6 semesters (accelerated option). The precise timing of subjects especially in second year depends on the student's area of major studies in their Bachelor degree.

*** Students in the Bachelor of Commerce who major in Accounting or Actuarial Studies or plan to major in statistics under the Diploma of Mathematical Sciences go to commerce options.
