Course Advice for Re-enrolment

The information on this page is updated during second semester.

We provide a General Information Session and Individual Course Advice for students during September and October (details below). All students who are planning to do any mathematics and statistics subjects and especially those who plan to major in Mathematics and Statistics are encouraged to obtain course advice.

Map Your Future Displays.

These displays are in the Peter Hall Building during second semester:

When: September and October
Where: Main corridor of Peter Hall building
What: Poster displays of course plans and career profiles
Relevant for:

  • Students seeking general information about specialisations within the Mathematics and Statistics major, and Computational Biology, Data Science and Mathematical Physics majors;
  • Students interested in doing Mathematics and Statistics subjects with other majors.

Course Planning information session

When:1:00-2.15pm Tuesday 10th October 2017
Where: Lyle lecture theatre
What: Presentation about major, specialisation and subject choices; question and answer time.
Who should attend:

  • Students seeking general information about level-2 and level-3 mathematics and statistics subjects;
  • Students seeking general information about specialisations within the Mathematics and Statistics major and on the Data Science, Computational Biology and Mathematical Physics majors.

Individual Course Advice for All Students

When: All year with additional staff availability in October.
Format: Individual consultation with course advisors.

Individual course advice sessions are held in the School of Mathematics and Statistics in October.
A link to the online booking system will be provided here at the start of October.

For appointments outside this period ask at the Mathematics and Statistics General Office, Ground Floor, Peter Hall Building for the location of the course advisor/s on call.
